Catena was founded by myself and 2 former colleagues who are experts in the crypto domain. We realized that our combined experience of working in the crypto industry is an incredibly strong and unique asset. We offer advice on both the financial and tech aspects and work with customers in various capacities to make crypto understandable and accessible for everyone.

Here I built an in-house crypto remittance system. This system was able to take payments generated in 3rd party tool and distribute them in Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I was also the lead on writing lots of our internal integrations, mostly related to financial data.

My responsibilities here were twofold. I was responsible for a team of engineers who were tasked with building various trading bots, mostly market maker and arbitrage bots.

The second part of my core responsibilities was analyzing white papers on a technical level for crypto projects we were thinking of investing in.

Before I embarked on a more traditional software engineering path I worked with a number of companies (both as an outward facing dev/consultant and internally) helping them align their ITSM processes to ITIL and making ServiceNow work for them.

ServiceNow is a Rhino based application (Javascript in Java) which has its core build written in Java but with the flexibility to add custom javascript to manipulate core aspects of the system. It's a really neat design and it proved a valuable learning experience, understanding how businesses use tech like this to streamline their IT service desks.
